Hey. Does anyone know if I can take the SRT-4 motor and transaxle and put it in my 1998 neon R/T? I want a car that looks slow and goes like there's no tomorrow. My car is pretty fast for what it is, but I want MORE POWER!!! I am a true Mopar guy and wouldn't put anything else in my car BUT a mopar motor. I dont care if I have to do some cutting and I don't care if it would cost more than just buying an SRT-4 car. I want something no one else has. Any information about this will help. Thanks.

 

Go over to the 1st gen neon section theres alot of guys on there with some r/ts that have done the srt swap . This is the wrong section to ask. They only know about srt4s . A know alot of 1st gen neons that have done the srt turbo swap and just as nice as a srt4 r/ts especially . you get more out of building your own turbo than buying a srt4. Just buyer beware look for a really good engine .
