Should I paint my rims black ?

I would of powercoated mine black just to be different and not like the rest of the fewacrs around . I would never put any other rims on my acr . Only way to go for rims on an acr is the bbs's . Will look killer with your black stripes and the rest of your black painted stuff. I would leave the lip alone on the bbs's.

BBQ black FTW! That's exactly what I did this year when the clear coat started bubbling in my silver ones. I have had more unsolicited compliments with them black already than in the 2 years they were silver.

I have to modify my statement because I didn't realize he had the ACR wheels. (I didn't read fully)
I dont think I would paint those particular wheels due to the potential value.
On my black car, with aftermarket wheels, it was a good choice.
His car not being black, makes it not as good a choice but I still think black would look good on his car.
This being the case, I would recommend either buying a set black, or painting a bought silver set black.
He probably should put the ACR's into storage.
