they are keeping it over night, but the good thing is that the mechanic heard the RPM's going crazy when i pulled up. he said he should be able to fix it by tomorrow morning. ill let ya'll know what was wrong with it.

trax, does he have a catchcan also? That can cause similar symptoms if the lines are loose.

Nop, no catch can or vacc leaks, so he said. IM going to try to help him figure it out prob this weekend. Will see

Picked up the car today, they replaced the Throttle Position sensor. crossing my fingers that it worked, so far so good.

yeah, he just told me to come in the next day, though, since they had some openings- i actually had to cancel, b/c i had too much to do to get ready for the deployment (leaving tomorrow- hopefully i'll talk to you in a couple days if i can get some computer time!).

Odd how the TPS would cause spikes like that only while in neutral and not while in gear. I figured if it were the TPS it would do it off and on all the time, in gear as well as in neutral.[&:]

well while in gear, it would act as a cruise control. doesnt do that anymore, i still gotta drive it hard, i love driving on these german roads, it makes driving fun.
