i was wondering if anyone knew where the click noise came from when shifting into gears is that from a shifter?

Im sorry for being vague it was supposed to make that noise but not sure what made the noise. and sorry for saying this please no flaming but it was like the noise on fast and the furious

It is most likely the gears in the tranny as they come together.
