Has anyone heard anything about a recall on the 03 SRT? I saw online they've had a oil pump problem and people are losing there engines after @ 8-9ooo miles. Just wondering if this was true due to it being posted on a site hating on the srt.

 

I have heard nothing about this but I will do a few checks on my end. Not that im the expert recal checker or anything but I'll see what I can dig up.

That claimed the 2003 was being recalled due to a bad oil pump. There is no recall and it was just a hoax.

what you mean they are recalling my '03? i've no major problems with it. the oil pump seems fine to me. it gets i little hot while idleing in traffic, but it runs like a beast and scares the hell outa me when i lay on the turbo, so i see nothing wrong. if i get altter telling me to bring it in you can be sure i'll let you all know.

this was a huge hoax that some civic owners or somthing started about a year ago. there is no recall, it's fake. this pops up every few months or so, don't worry about it.

 

i'd only worry if i noticed something was wrong with my car. but it seems fine to me. so nu worries.
