buying a cm stage 4 clutch, should i get a 4 or 6 puck clutch

 

either one is fine. the 6 is a little nicer on the street but the 4 holds a little more power. both are streetable clutches though (i have had both)

 

well im buying the clutchmaster stage 4 tomorrow i think i may choose the 6 puck, they offer the 4, but idk i want features from both, anyways would it be stupid to put it in my car before having my st4 kit in? i wanted to drive it on a stock car, figuring i can give it its breakin time, would that make any difference on a stock car? probably not is my guess, is that a bad idea to install and use first with my car lacking power that the clutch is rated for? would it hurt anything? planning on installing clutch in a week..

 

no it's not going to hurt anything. that's perfectly fine if that's what you want to do.

 

Definitely do the 6 puck... have you ordered it yet? I posted in another thread that a local shop that helped build the clutchmasters cars and they give killer prices on the Clutches
