Bad Thermo/Power steering?? help
so, i beat the hell outa my car today on the pike. and when i got off my car smelled horribly. i started my car back up and drove back home after n hour. i got home shut it back off, before leaving again, i open my hood and listen, sounds like an air leak right near the thermostat, or the power steering pump. but putting your ear up to it kinda sounds like a possible bad bearing in the power steering. now the fluid level is low in both the p/s and coolant. however this time when i restarted it, it was several hours later, my fans kicked on..for like 4 seconds shut back off and didnt come on till it was hot again, on my drive i noticed the temp gauge fluctuating from 220 right where it always sits or 200 whatever the middle bar is, to a little under then back up a little under back up, and shut my car off again after that drive and it still smells horribly. do i got a bad thermo? is it a bad p/s rack. are those both known for issues? yes it was rather hot out today when i beat the hell outa it. just wasnt in a good mood. i never heard this noise while my car was at idle (the air/mechanical?) noise mentioned above before. i think something is wrong...or just sounds of dried out p/s pump and low coolant causing the smell? theres no leaks, any questions u have to assist me or answers to my issue would be appreciated thanks
