Yeah I know srt4s just say dodge srt4 on the rear and sticker but its based on the neon so in all reality its a neon srt4 but looks a bit different than a 2nd gen neon though so 3rd gen neon is an awesome way of lookin at it plus the srt4 is still in its own class.

 

i guess it would be in the srt family class.

it's a neon. no way around that. have you looked at one lately? it's a neon with a big wing. i'm not ashamed of it. when people ask me what i drive i tell them a neon because that's what it is.

 

I know its a neon but all Im askin over here is what you think of your srt4 being called a 2nd gen neon like the sxts and r/ts and ses or do you think its in a class of its own . My old srt forums have the thing that the srt4 is a 3rd gen neon and not a 2nd gen neon.

 

I do the same thing. The first couple of dozen times I was asked what kind of car it was, I tried to explain what SRT meant, etc. People's eyes just kinda glazed over. So to keep it simple, I just tell them it's a Neon.

Then they start with all the questions about the mods........

it's not a class of it's own. it's a 2nd gen as far as i'm concerned. same body style, same chasis, even the same interior for the most part. *shrugs*

 

There is nothing to prove. It's a Neon. Some people would want to call it a Neon SRT-4 and others wont. It doesn't matter.

 

Most of you think the srt4 is in a class of its own so Ill go with that and my other srt forums think the same . Most of you think your srt4 is a neon and I will agree since my other srt forums think so also.
