Costwise about the same. My wife drives a 99 Blazer, and while I use less gas, mine is more expensive, so it balances out.

well thats not real good i would have thought it would at least get 25mpg to be a 4 banger if you are easy on the pedal somewhat like a cavy what oct does it call for to use for filling up

use 91 oct, and im sure it will be alot harder to keep off the petal compared to a cavy, and i get about 25ish on the highway and low 20's around the street, with some boost usage.

Off the pedal? What is this bizarre language you speak, sir? Some folks with freakish control over their right foot have reported MPGs over 25, but they scare me 93 , unless you live in a nasty place like CA, 91 absoluye minimum, but you might drop some power with that.

I only checked mine once and with a mix of driving I averaged 21.9 MPG. If you keep from getting into the turbo boost at all you should be able to get the manufacturers 22-30 MPG rating, but I never could since it is so frickin' fun. Trust us, once you drive it you will understand that it's not a matter of how many MPG it gets, it's just a matter of how fun and fast getting from point A to point B can and will be. You will not be able to restrain yourself enough to ever get the 22-30 MPG rating, so you can expect to get 18-25 MPG realistically.

anywhere from 18 to 25 in mine... depends on how heavy my right foot feels... normal driving I get usually 23 or so... but when I gotta put the hurt down, the MPG goes down...
