Simple, you will loose most of your power. Your SRT-4 will be unable to build much if any boost and will be a sluggish turd that will get beat by the electric hybrid cars and tricycles. You should also hear a fairly noticeable sound of rushing air as it blows out through the BOV since it is backwards.[:@][]

yes i installed a bop. it goes in place of the stock surge valve, where the mopar bov would go. it's just a replacement piece. my stock surge valve makes a good door stopper now lol

You don't hear it because it recycles it back into the intake. It is actually a surge valve. The BOV's that you are familiar with are the typical types that vent it into the atmosphere which creates the sound your use to hearing. The Mopar BOV is simply a plate that goes between the stock surge valve and the turbo housing and it redirects the pressure into the atmosphere creating the BOV's sound we all know and love.

Greddy is a high Pitched sound....And if not set right flutters wayyyy too much. But does sound damned good.

Mopar BOV - I like the sound of it personally. Some say its too long and too breathy, rather than being quick as most are. Others from srtforums.com have said that it makes an extended BO sound everytime you let off the gas to shift. The Mopar BOV is just a noisemaker until you get stage 2 anyways. And if installed wrong, it leaks. And almost all of them leak anyways.

Blitz?? Never heard that one.

I'm just praying to god you're only expecting a sound out of the BOV and not performance....upgrading the BOV without any other upgrades, is virtually useless unless you wanna rice around and blow noise at people. [sm=smiley11.gif] The stock one when running the rest of the engine stock is perfectly fine. If you add an intake, or modify the stock one, the BOV also becomes much more noticeable. Just a thought....

Personally, the quieter it is, the less they'll expect when they roll up next to you wanting some.... [8D]
