I have heard of Booger Bushings, for, say a short throw shifter...

Q: What do they do?
Q: Are they hard to install?
Q: Will it benefit me in any way?
Q: Are they inportant?

they replace the mushy stock ones and make shifting alot stiffer feel instead of all loose like the stock ones. i think they are important because the stock ones tend to get a little weak and sometimes the ****er cable can actually pop off the shifter leaving u stuck in the middle of traffic unless the car was alredy in gear, its happened to me twice. they are not hard to install and they come with instructions on how to put them in.
