your regional rep must be a little behind, these have already hit the streets. there are confirmed private owner srt calibers out there.

i still think it's ugly as sin

 

And they are slower than us stock

 

I can assure you they pre-production models. I checked onTOPS, and the SRT model is not available. ie: they are not into production yet.

BeforetheCaliber came out, our reps drove one to us. It was kind of crazy because there wasn't a VIN stamped anywhere on the car.

the only owners i know of is a guy that hasone for feedback and opinion info, provided to him well before the regular production models are released to the general public.

 

there's a confirmed owner as of two weeks ago, it was all over the srt forums (various ones). it's not a test mule.

not that it matters, it's still ugly. people will buy it...but it's a freaking sport-ute muscle car, and that's just an atrocity.

 

they finally fixed the torque steer huh?

they had some out at APG a few weeks ago while I was out there testing (sadly, I was testing the BASE Caliber... so sad...)

the mule I drove last year sucked!!! you looked at it wrong and it threw codes!!!!

had a camo'd Challenger running laps!!!! that was sweet....

and AMG was out there with some high dollar German toys...

again, I had a base Caliber and a few mini-vans... DOH!!! ha-ha...

 

Come on now its not that ugly. I thought the same thing until I saw one in person. Although Im still not crazy about the intercooler position and piping. I got to experience one first hand at MATT this year and they are not as slow as everybody thinks. With a good driver and some mods, I bet they will be outrunning our cars. DCR is already working on the platform for them. Just my .02 tho.
