Im going to put some serious money into my caliber srt4 and hopefully mopar or hahn will come out with some way better turbo kits than they did the neon srt4 . Just because you think the caliber srt4 is not worthy doesnt make you right . Just wait and see.

 

Hope springs eternal. Don't hold your breath. The SRT-4 caliber is nowhere near the pocket rocket the Neon SRT-4 is despite your wishes. As for the aftermarket, the Caliber SRT-4 will go the way of the PT Cruiser SRT-4, which is nowhere. And just for your info, aftermarket companies are getting leary ofshort run (3 years or so) cars to produce aftermarket items for. It's not cost effective for them to address such a small market.

But I will wait and see. And wait some more. In the meantime I will enjoy my vehicle to the max and then do what I have to do, buy a truck for hauling firewood and building supplies up in Colorado.

Enjoy racing whatever SRT-4's you come across, they will be rare by then and the smart folks will have the remaining ones up on blocks in storage.

The Neon SRT-4 will be a collector's model...........a Caliber SRT-4 will just be a Caliber SRT-4.

mopar is going to release the same kits that they did for the neon. hahn kits are severly limited for what they offer. neither will make a caliber into a neon killer.

the srt themselves have already stated that the caliber srt-4 is NOT as fast as the neon version. so hope may spring eternal, but even the builders aren't holding their breath.

i think the srt team did a great job with the horrible platform that they were given, but i have no illusions that the caliber is going to be a neon killer, and neither do the people who build the car. i mean come on, a limited slip that works by slowing down the car? wtf is that......

no, lol, you're the bitter and sad hater on this thread. i just don't know which makes you seem more sad, acting like danica isn't rich, hot and talented ... or the fact that the caliber srt4 replaced the neon srt4. you're so one-sided with your rage that you don't even realize what you say, like stating the caliber has a horrible platform while you drive a neon, or saying that danica is fugly while you loo.....cough.......

Ive actually have had both a caliber and pt crusier and they arent as ugly and slow as what everyone makes them out to be especalliy the turboed cruisers and the caliber srt4 isnt out yet so quit hatin on them when you guys havent even test drove one yet. You cant judge a something by the looks of it anyways look at the srt4 neon when it 1st came out everyone hated on that also.

 

I've driven a turbo pt cruiser and it was a terd..... not saying it's underpowered, but it's def. not fast. Why are you getting so defensive? .... People still hate on my neon .... you think I give a **** ? .... And ugly is in the eye of the beholder so If I say it looks like a kangaroo's pouch, it does.

 

I'm not sure about the Caliber SRT-4, I think it is ugly. Danica Patrick on the other hand is not. I'll road test the Caliber when it's released in this area just for fun. The Caliber does have some features that make it interesting at least. I don't think I can get past ugly though.
