HELP!!! So I have had this problem before (car throwing codes, who hasn't )

BUT. . . I can't for the life of me get that thing to give up the code. I cycled the key, all the way on, all the way off 3 times and nothing. What is the trick?? I tried without holding the key lock and with and this thing won't give it up!!!!

 

You can always go to Autozone or Advanced and have them pull the code with a scan tool.

 

you don't turn it all the way on, just to accessory.

 

Thanks PSI, I finally got it, I knew Auto Zone would read it, but I don't have one close.

The damn P0038 code AGAIN. This happened to me about a year ago, a rodent ate thru the O2 wiring, I couldn't fix it myself because at the time I was giving birth to my son, what an inconvinience

Oh well, drop it off tomorrow at Dodge, they fixed it last time (not under warranty) so I don't know if they are going to fix it for free this time or give me some bull **** excuse about what happened now.

 

Dealer repairs normally come with a warranty.....I'd be taking a copy of the last repair with me to the dealer and hold their feet to the fire.....

Yeah I was thinking she was turning the key too far, but also, you know you have a time limit to complete the 3 cycles. If you're too slow, it wont work either.
