buying an srt 4

08's are already out. That makes it 5 years old model year wise, which is what "value" is based upon. If you can wait six-eight months, I'll sell you my 04 (more power), it has 7400 miles on it as of today......and it won't be $15,500 or even 14,500.......

Too bad the lifetime warranty doesn't apply to SRTs.....and any engine/turbomods are going to put the regular warranty at risk as well, no matter who makes them.

My dealer has been "cool" with my mods as well (dealer installed), but then my warranty claims had nothing todo with the modsmade. For your protection, become familiar with the sticky at the top explaining what the warranty does and does not cover. We've had a buch of folks in this section that ended up paying for work on their car because they assumed dealer installed Mopar performance parts were covered by the warranty. They are not, and if the mod caused the problem, you could bestuck with the bill. If your dealer tells you otherwise, that's fine. But your dealer won't stay in business fixing every modded SRT for free that comes thru the door, especially withused parts from a diffferent car. Also remember they want to sell you a new car......
