No it is going to be based off the lancer platform, and may not even be called the neon anymore. It will be FWD however, whereas most of Dodge's new vehicles are RWD with an AWD option (i.e. Charger and Magnum). The stratus's last year for coupe's is 05, and for sedans is 05/06. The Intrepid said goodbye in 2004. Now we have the Magnum, Charger, Ram, Durango, Dakota, Caravan/G Caravan. The new Neon will be like a little car and a sports/cross wagon. They're also looking to incorporate something small (i.e. along the lines of the PT Cruiser) SUV wise, and will be making an SUT (Sport Utility Truck) Much like Ford and Nissan have done as well as the new Hummer SUT. They may incorporate a small convertible sports car as well. The Slingshot is said not to go into production, but the Razor is up in the air. Most of these vehicles will have the 2.4L i4 which is shared through Dodge, Chrysler, Mitsu, and Hyundai. But made by DCX.
Chryslers looking to bring a new line into play that is geared more towards a younger audience as far as styling and price (which is where the razor would fit in at a price of 14,995.). It won't be called plymouth though, and they wont make the same mistake they did years ago of having three of the same cars with minor appearance differences in their three lines (i.e. Plymouth Neon, Dodge neon, Chrysler neon).

finally a pretty nice wide body other than the typical urathane wave's in the side skirt's (#1 reason for glass look's a million time's better just have to be more carefull with it). The sfi wide body need's to have the wheel flare's shaved off. Or combine both kit's and make 1
I think if the S FI wasn't so drastic it wouldn't look all that bad. But they really went all out on it... And I don't like the look of the car sans crosshair grille at all. I love Dodge's signature grille, sets us apart from the rest.
I would say hell yea brother Amen!!!
I would only think about putting wide body on if it was a non drill and glue kit
like the ones that replace the whole finder's and fiberglass on the back fenders were it looks like it rolled out the dealer like that!!
