What is Brake Boosting?

Ok, so i read alot about this brake boosting. What is it exactly?

I think it when your racing from a roll you put your foot on the brake and one on the gas to buil your boost.

^yup. brake + gas to build up your boost, then release the brake. much better than waiting for the boost. but i wouldnt use this method too often, only when going up against a closly matched car

if you dont like your car its a g reat way too screw your car up and loose the race due to a mechanicle failure
