Default Question about the stock hood

I was just wondering if anyone has modified their stock hood, I noticed that the plastic piece restricts alot of air flow and was thinking about opening up the baffle (so to speak). Is there a noticeable difference in the cooling off, maybe keeping temp down a bit?

I haven't heard of any major differences....you may also want to look into a radiator shroud and/or Water Wetter....

Not much difference.......get a 180 thermostat and a fan switch.

I have the 180 degree in it, and the fan switch, need to get some water wetter or something. Would modifing the plastic piece help alot more in cooling the turbo on hard runs?
