should 1st and 2nd be hard to get into gear???i have to force mine in

1st and 2nd are known to be a little stiff at times...... how many miles areon your car ? ... ever changed the tranny fluid ? .... Makes a BIG difference.

i just got the car with 32k on it and idk if the tranny fluid was changed

Even if it was changed once, it's due for another change. Don't forget the mopar additive when you do it.......

Not a problem, we were all newbies at one time. Just get 3 quarts of ATF+4 (you'll only use about 2.5 quarts) and a bottle of Mopar Friction Modifier from your local Dodge dealer.
