The car wash wipes fit easily in the cracks next to the door....I get a bunch of gunk in there too, as well on the rear end of the SRT-4....I just take a towel and wipe the black dust to one side and "snap" it off with a pop of the towel....

Simple Green is the best stuff in the world. Just don't use it on the body. It will remove the wax.

Yep, the Turtle Wax easily removes the road grim as well as asphalt and rubber.

I used to use a German metal polish on my motorcycles called "Semi-Chrome", but have had a hard time finding it in the last few years. A buddy of mine who works on the aircraft at Randolph AFB said they use something called "MAAS" that they actually buy at the military commissary on the base. I've used it on my WWII German daggers and it cleans them to perfection, even with them being over 60 years old......

I quit using wax on the exhaust parts when I realized the high temps were just "cooking" off the wax protection.....the MAAS has a non-wax metal protection.

For my swords, knives and some chrome I use Wenol metal polish, if you use it on a penny it will come out looking exactly like a polished dime.
