Yeah, those ribbons have become very popular and they get stolen alot since it's about the easiest thing someone can steal. Sad really, I've got both versions for free and there are still those that feel the need to steal them. At least they didn't bust out your window to try and steal something more.[:@]

Well theres nothing else in the car they would want. I only had him a couple months before the whole accident happened. He had 4 grand on him for miles. Unless they wanted my SRT-4 Hot wheel they wouldn't have wanted too much in there. I just think its sick that people would rather steal than pay the $5 or less to support the troops and get their own. Jerks. [:@] The world is a pathetic place....with lots and lots of a-holes.

Far too many at that. They might steal your factory stereo, even the shift ****. Thieves are a very low form of criminal scum.[:@][:@]

This is true, in RI they steal stereos ALOT. Tint is gonna be one of the next things on my list.

Same here. I usually wait to do the cosmetics last, but I really want mine tinted, but I cannot go as dark as I would like because of the tint and lighting ****'s around here. I still need to install my pressure pipe and gauges, I also still need to get the exhaust between the turbo and the Mopar cat back as well as the Stage 1, Stage 2 w/toys will have to come later.

I wasn't going to do visual first, but I think my accident changed things a bit for me. Plus being as its easier to get sponsored if your car looks different than the rest I think I can safely say that its not necesarily a bad route to take. And if a sponsorship does come, then parts for under the hood will be so much cheaper than if I bought them outright before my sponsorship.

I'm going 5% all around with a 5% sunshade in the front. I had 15% on my Stratus Coupe, and never had a problem. Maybe because I'm a girl? [sm=sorry.gif]. Ahdunno. But if worse comes to worse and they make me take it off. I'll leave the 5% in the back and to the AS-1 line because in RI anything on the back windows is legal its the front two they worry about. And I'll retint the front ones to 20% which you can still kinda see through, but less so on a Black car .

Imagine if the headliner and A-pillars were black too Mitch? Wow would our cars be dark!!! I might just do that! But doing headliners with a sunroof are a PIA.

Yeah, I would have prefered an all black interior, but since they only come one way you gotta take what you can get. I would love togo with 5% all around, but a friend of mine did that in his Tiburon and got ticketed right away for it and I think the only reason he hasn't been ticketed since is because some neighborhood kids busted his back glass and after it was replaced he never got it tinted again. He was also ticketed for his washer lights which were legal since they were white, but when he went to court the prosecutor said all he has to do is prove that the officer perceived them as being blue, since blue and red are illegal and his did seem to have a slightly blue hue to them even though the package even says white. He accepted their BS, I would have fought it and said that the officers perception should be questioned, maybe he's slightly color blind. The 20% sounds good though. I believe that the laws are the same here, anything on the backs are whatever you want, but the front sides have to be 50% or above.
