why the rush over the srt-4
NICE COLT! That's a sleeper and a half. Yeah for the scene the srt-4 is a shocker. I bought it after seeing the concept and making enough money to support the habit(SRT-4). I have slowed on mods and will get stage-3 eventually. I'm not an auto historian but the history of chrysler and dodge seems to tell a story of being ahead of it's time. Did I say nice Colt btw? My srt is a hoot to drive and they are going for low 12k's used online for 03's. Haven't looked lately so don't quote me. Keep killin those srt's. They'll learn how to drive them eventually!
Ha ha...cool replys......ha ha whats a colt, well its not the one in the pic. I will get one up in a day or so.....my 1984 twin stick colt (8 speed trans) act. if you can shift it right along with the shifter.....but mine I leave in high range as wheel spin is too bad.....
Curb weight is under 1700 pounds my mods are simple, mitt star injectors(2 of them) rare only made for the jap version intercooler, 2.5 inch pipe through one resonator and out the back...15 psi on the turbo vs 7-8 stock...im told I can go past twenty psi if I disable the overboost fuel pump shutoff.......it drops like a rock if i push it too hard with the boost turned up....the fp/ignition just cuts off then back on(hard on parts).
And its a 1600 cc small *** engine. Its a cool lil econbox but dont blow me **** a neon is a dam noen ......a econ0box with a turbo and intercooler.....just as in the same spirit as the neon.
I must say my colt runs good for what it is, it was org owned by a dodge dealership tech who auto-crossed it....its got a long history as a racer so im not sure what might of been done to the motor.
Dont get me wrong I like the srt and am considering one myself......but it is what it is....a noen.

First of all you can't even spell "Neon" correctly. And if you read the back of the car its called a "Dodge SRT-4". It has another name. But I don't reckon you could spell that either. You can keep your 1984 Colt for all I'm concerned, since you "smoke so many SRTs". Why would you come on a forum, ask questions about a car, then bash it?? Dude we could say PLENTY about your Colt. At least our cars were made AFTER the millenium. Alls I"m saying is I don't care HOW fast that unsafe econobox hatchback POS with no air bags is, you wouldn't catch me DEAD in one. Don't come over to a forum and insult people's interest in a vehicle, thats for places like SRTforums, and Civic Forums....and if your really cool....a Civic SI forum.....yeah thats it right there.
Second of all your sentence structure is absolutely horrific, no wonder you own a 1984 Colt, you can't even spell correctly. The neon is NOT an econobox. I hate to break it to you but an econobox is a Daewoo, Kia, Hyundai, maybe even a COLT. Your really irritating me and other members on this board whom I talk to on a regular basis.
