You know i am new at this and all, but i will guess it is a "Short Throw Shifter"?

Going from driving a Saturn SC2 (manual) to a SRT, i thought it was a short throw anyhow. Am i incorrect?

It may seem short throw when compared to your previous SC2, but the original SRT-4 shifter is not a short throw. Get a STS in your SRT-4 or check out one that already has one and then you'll see what a difference there is between normal and the STS.

It's in and the thing is awesome. Install was a cinch. Instead of a claw hammer i just pried the clips out a little with a flathead and pulled them out by hand. 6 screws, 4 nuts and we're in business. Now that I have driven it for two days - I love it. Everyone must get one. [sm=icon_rock.gif] [sm=goodidea.gif]

BTW - I put in the booger bushings as well - It would be silly not to. They make a difference too.
