I was racing a stage 2 srt-4 with my heavily modded non-staged car.....i beat him both times.......he said his car wasnt running right because he was hitting 26lbs....he said if he turns it down to 19 or 20lbs it runs strong....

that sounds like my car....my car needs to be turned down to run good....shouldnt a stage 2 be able to handle 26lbs of boost with a fuel pump....????

how much boost can you run on a stage 2 i guess is my question?

 

Please don't ever run more than 20lbs of boost on the stock turbo ever again....... that should pretty much sum up all your questions.

seems like with the bigger fuel injectors it would be fine...and some hot spark plugs....I know thats putting the turbo at risk and overspooling it but still....seems like the motor would still run fine...?

 

The efficiency of the turbo is up to 19psi....... the turbo is not designed to run more than that ... you are not helping performance at all.......regardless of how much fuel you have.

 

I think the absolute cut off for the stock turbo is 22psi over that its just spinning hot air. I read awhile back that a fully built srt-4, stock turbo running 22psi, with full interior crank high 11's on slicks producing around 350HP.

 

With every supporting mod in the planet.... ya ..... good luck with that. I made more power on stock turbo at 19psi then at 21.... with stage 2 and supporting mods.
