Correct SRT-4 Winter Startup and Shutdown
Thanks, to all who gave me the great advise on driving of the SRT-4 in the winter...which is now fast approuching.
I was wondering, on a normal winter morning, how long to let the engine warm up in the morning, say 19 degrees outside[&:], and how long if any, to wait until I shut it down after my 10 minute drive to work. I dont drive this car hard, and it is stock. I just want to be sure I dont trash or destroy something. Anything I should be aware of?
Thanks for the help.
I will do my best to be carefull and take it easy this winter

Nothing really special to worry about. The car gets up to normal temps pretty quick no matter what the outside temp is. If you drive "normal" there's no need to let it idle after you stop.....

^agreed there. just make sure you have all the normal winter maintenence to keep it starting strong on cold mornings. i have been keeping my car inside alot more latley, i hate getting into a cold car.
i dont recall any of your earlier posts, but make sure if your taking it out in the winter you have dedicated snow tires!
