My tone ring broke in my stock engine so i took my car to Vivid racing to have them install a new block and a 50 trim kit. It took them 3 months and the car was still not finished so i pulled it from Vivid and brought it to UMS tuning. Ums had to re install the turbo and the motor mounts because vivid put them on wrong.....After driving the car for a little over a month its broken again. There is a mounting bracket that the ac compressor and tensioner pulley mount to(a motor mount bolts to the bracket as well) and this bracket bolts up to the block with 4 bolts. Vivid neglected to put the bolt that is under the ac compressor in at all(probably cuz it was too hard for them). The bracket broke at the top and the other 2 bolts broke the nipples off of the block. Would not putting that bolt in cause it to break?? What can/should i do? Should i take vivid to small claims....I am lost....... please any suggestions..........

i dont need help with the tone ring issue.... Would not putting that 1 bolt in cause the bracket to break??

 

they forgot one bolt in four? i highly doubt that caused it to break, and the other bolts to fail. could it have? sure. but probably not.
