OT: Caliber SRT-4
Dusty makes a good point for this car... if you knew some of the bugs they had to work out too....
there is a reason they delayed the launch of this car by 1/2 a year...

This "new" SRT-4 doesnt live up to the hype, failed promises and ugly styling, I called a dealer recently, he says he cant lay his hands on one, because they are still argueing over stereo systems with manufacters!!! He wasnt very happy about it either...
I wated to test drive it as a comparision to the Neon SRT-4...I guess I have a while to wait, dealer said over 60 days at least!

PRO: has lots of upgraded, upscale and new options...ranging from brakes, intercooler, interior upgrades, 6th gear, exhaustand overall attention to detail. if you thought that it was going to be twice as big as the neon after reading so much garbage about it being way too big, you'll be glad to know that it's almost the exact same size as the neon, except it has a hatch instead of a trunk.has much less of an ENTRY LEVEL feel and look to it. also, if you're in the market for a performance hatchback (VW GTI) it's faster stock than the gti and probably won't break down as often as the vw.
..and i still think it looks 1,000x better than the mazda army boot speed3
CON: if you're hung up on only-speed-matters and you think a 25k car should beat a 35k car in total handling, performance and available options comparisons..then you'll probably be unhappy with the caliber. or if, for some odd reason, you think a hatchback should look exactly like a four door sedan..you probably won't like what you're looking at.

Thanks Guys. I won't buy one brand new. I am the type of person that will let someone get the new off of it. I bought my 2005 Neon SXT with 7801 Miles on it. Just like new.
I have to agree with PSI chick about the 6th gear, thats nice. Looks are alright, still slower then our SRT-4's, another pro is the cam with in a cam on both int. and ext. They should have come out with the 3 inch exthaust system on the Neon SRT. PLus I agree to the first model bugs things, they always have them.
