Just curious what you srt4 owners think of your exhausts . Are they for show or for performance . I think for they help with performance .

 

they are pretty much for show, 5-20 hp gains. i am going to get the billy boat 3in. turboback exhaust with 4in. tips, but they are pretty much show and the way you want your car to sound.

 

How about the borla mopar it helps with performance doesnt it a little .

 

It will a little yes, but nothing HUGE. I like mine, stock just the way it is. I would like to find out how to make them super-ubber shiny, if someone could help on that topic...

 

I just switched from the Borla cat-back and ATP 3" downpipe to the Billy Boat "B&B" 3" turboback exhaust. Both exhaust systems are nice but the Billy Boat is obviously better. I say performance and show.

 

See you guys no better than most on the off topic section. A little helps out better than nothing .

 

BTW, it's not really a truedual exhaust, it just splits intodual pipes before it exits the rear.......

bu wait, dont you own a (supposed) turbo gen 1 neon? last i checked, turbo's are performance mods, and now show mods....

An SRT-4 performs better with a single exit exhaust. Yeah, an srt-4 is not a true dual exhaust. It's not even a dual exhaust at that. It's just a dual tip. A turbo needs to get rid of the exhaust as fast as possible. The most powerful srt-4 has a single exit exhaust that comes out on the bottom of the car like this:

The least amount of bends on the exhaust for the srt-4 is the best for performance.
