Systems
Like I said to you on AIM, Audiobahn is great for hard hitting bass with little to no clarity. Turn it up too loud and/or power it too much and you lose your clarity bigtime. Audiobahn's highs aren't great either. If your gonna go with Audiobahn, upgrade your interiors to 4 or 5 ways. I like Pioneer's interiors and have had awesome luck with them. I had all 5 ways in my Stratus R/T.
But if your gonna stay with the stock Kicker interior speakers. I'd amp them up a bit, since they aren't amped up enough while stock.
AND if you're going to add ANY type of aftermarket system to this car, GET A GROUNDING KIT! And/or make one yourself out of 0 or 4 gauge wire and some gold connectors (or silver w/e gold conducts better). These car's are grounded so horribly. The cars audio and drivetrain will perform better if this is done, and you won't get the inevitable "light dim" thats present even when the car is stock.
Remember, its not really about the subs, the amp is far more important. The Amp is the juice for the subs, don't have the right amp, don't expect too much. Another thing is positioning of the subs, and insulating the car in order to prevent the rattle. The best position is towards the rear of the trunk, or facing straight upwards. Putting them towards the cabin loses alot of the sound, since most of the sound actually emenates from the rear of the subs in the box, and not from the front, as odd as that sounds.
The box you choose or make also plays a big factor as well. How thick it is, what its made of, is it ported or not? Etc. Also make sure you have the proper gauge wire for the amount of RMS power your pushing, it doesnt hurt to go up a gauge, but underpowering is dangerous. And make sure you have the right fuse as well, blown fuses are a common problem with systems. Blah I could go on and on. Here's some SRT systems.
