Any idea why the PT has a Mopar Hurst Shifter option but not the SRT-4, onlya Mopar short throw shifter.

 

You wouldn't want the Hurst anyway, it will change the angles of some of the connections causing premature wear and failure. The Mopar Performance short throw shifter replaces the entire assembly to keep everything right and it keeps the factory shifter height.

 

really? so why do they use it on the PT and not use the Mopar version if the Hurst isn't all that good?</P>


Glad to know they don't just try to put anything on the SRT to make money, it's all about the performance and time lasting of the products.</P>

 

Give Hurst and B&M a day or two and they'll have their short throw shifters out for it. I'm going to get the Mopar Performance short throw shifter for my R/T.
