rip it off...that's what i ended up doing. you might also have to adjust the latch and bring it up a little to ensure that it locks properly. also be sure to adjust the stoppers on either side of the hood so that it sits correctly.
Take some of that rubber piece off, or take the rubber piece off entirely. That'll fix it. Alot of people had that latching problem with the IP2...

Well that certainly sucks. It reminds me of the trunk lid on my '99 R/T after I left it unlatched and went to the car wash, I noticed it by the time I got there and it was very windy out. When I got out to close it the wind caught it and opened it up, really frickin' hard. It overextended causing the hinges to get bent which made the trunk not close anymore. I wrestled with it bending the hinges back to where it would close properly again, but it was never perfectly straight again. You had to really look hard at it to see that it was misaligned, but you could still tell.[:@]
