AGP Trans. Mount
it was a little harder than the dogbones but not much. i did all three mounts at once and the job took me about 1 hr 45 mins i think. i installed them almost two years ago though so im not sure how long it really took.
you will notice increased vibration with dogbones. how much you notice seems to be an individual thing. some people thing it's really bad, others barely notice. it's more about your tolerances than anything. the most noticable is the whine of the power steering when the wheel is locked and the a/c when you turn it on.
BENIFITS OF IT? I would think a better launch..correct?
And...In the past Ihave had a 2004 Cavalier with the lower(dogbone) and upper mounts in place on the 2.2 Ecotec...good heavens what a vibrating rattletrap!!!!! If it anything like that, forget it, unless the benefits are far greater...
The air-conditioning turned on was a true experince...think a plane hovering on the edge of the sound barrier...terrible!

the only benefit that the trans mount seems to be that you're less likely to miss a gear. other than that there are no real benefits to changing it, which is why most people leave it alone.
