srt-4 swap specialists??
yeah so i have a 2000 neon donor car that i want to drop a 2.4 turbo into. i'm trying to kill two birds with one stone here by just going to one place for parts and labor, even if it costs a little more. i've heard of a place in PA that would do an srt-4 swap on neons for 5 grand including parts/labor but i never got a name. so if its possible, i'd like to get some info on where i can get this done. i dont trust myself nor my mechanically inclined friends to build me a turbo motor (even though they said they could) so thats out of the question. i greatly appreciate any help, thanks.

His name is Matt and this is his store. http://www.srt-4store.com/index.php?page=swaps
Hes a cool kid talk to him about it....
thanks, thats exactly the guy i was looking for. so is he trustworthy? anyone have any experience getting a swap done by him? i dont want a used beat up motor with a turbo leak or a ****ty clutch.
Trustworthy yes, he has exp, there are some people around who did get work done. He said the motor source doesnt bother with beatup/ old engines. Lots of people will down talk him but, its a risk u take getting work done by other people.
this is starting to sound a little too pricey for me, on his page it states a 00 model will cost extra because of the chassis. not to mention i would still need a brake, suspension and wheel upgrade. total that up and i could go out and buy a whole srt-4 that would probably be more reliable but the insurance might kill me. this is starting to seem too unrealistic unless i had loads of cash or the ability to do it myself.
i think i'd rather use the money to buy a 1st gen dohc coupe or a 2nd gen acr

i'm in new york and my insurance isn't all that bad. i pay something like $500 for 6 months on the neon.
pm me for jay's number. he's located in middletown, nj. it's a little bit of a trip but well worth it, you won't find a better or more neurotic mechanic than him. he's the only one that i let touch my car.
