I put an end to an ongoing argument between my mom and I about my late dad's 1999 Mustang GT. She had been complaining that I spent too much time "taking care" of my SRT-4 and that it was just a "toy" car......that got my fur up to say the least.
When I tried to explain that my SRT-4 would outrun his Mustang GT, she walked away. I waited a few days for tempers to cool off and then showed her the 0-60 and 1/4 mile speeds for both cars. I also mentioned the upgrades I had made and the fact that his car was stock.............now she wants to go for a ride!!!!

My father, coming from a 428 Cobra Jet Mustang, didn't think a neon could have *****.... then I took him for a ride....his car would romp on me in the 1/4 I won't lie (11's FTL).... but on a longstretch he wouldn't have much chance.
