Default Friction Modifier

Okay so this is what i heard....I would like to see what yall think...

Friction modifier adds friction to the fluid inside the tranny hence the name friction modifier....I heard this will produce some extra wear and tear on the transmission of course because the added friction....However the plus side is it will help the LSD clutches and discs grip better to help provide us with better posi traction....If this is correct i believe ill just not add any to my tranny and go without the super lsd...all lsd's end up going sometime i'd rather my transmission last longer really...your ideas?

So pro and con??
Or just thats crazy.....

i have always added the modifier. i understood that it helped the transmission out in the long run, and made it a little more smooth during shifts.

I wanna believe its all good but the guy made a pretty good argument...my tranny was already a little bit damaged when i got the car...the car was just dragged out and all the parts were put under stress....i think it has a new cv axle on the passenger side and the trannsmission has a leak and sounds ruffed up....i just dont wanna make it any worse i need it to last rite now lol

Sounds like your gonna have issues regardless.I always use the friction modifier however tranny is getting a little touchy. I'm thinking about trying redline C+atf soon people say its good stuff.

I am currently running the Royal Purple Syncromax in mine and I love it, I also used the Mopar friction additive. I wrote to Royal and they said that people have run the full syth. in their SRT with and without the modifier, and never had a problem. To play it safe I still ran the modifier. I heard that RedLine is good also.
