This is a '04 SRT 4 and the only mod is a MOPAR BOV. In 1-3rd gears I still get my normal boost when new (10 - 11psi). The problem seems to only be in 4th and 5th gears were I will spike @ 11 and settle to 10.I, like everyone else stock, use to spike @ 16-17 and thensettle @ 14-15. I have tested @ different outside temps and no change. Just had plugs, wires, filter and pcvvalve replaced. A fluttering sound right @ 8-9 is more prominent now then ever before (don't know if related). Before this drop in boost I was getting a bad fluctuation of the boost needle right @ 10 psi. Leak test comes up OK! Any suggestions?

 

check for boost leaks....

 

Leak test comes out negative...would this possibly be a wastegate issue?

 

yes it can b.... make sure all your vacuum lines are connected....
