Ok, this is going to sound a little strange...like a newbie question

My 2004 SRT-4 is well, bone stock...except for the mopar BOV(blue plate)

Q: Would I benefit from getting a AGP Wastegate and what would the benefits yeild, if any?

Q: If I did decide to get one, is the install easy and is tuning it a hardship? I'm unsure exactly
what it does and what wrong with the stock one?

An agp waste gate paired with a boost controller will add power. The boost will peak and stay instead of dropping

 

How about just a wastegate?

 

Sure you will see some gains but you get less partial throttle boost if you use a boost controller plus i believe it will hold better with a boost controller.
