Im thinking about getting an srt-4 in a couple months and i have been looking at different types of blow off valves. my favorite i think is the mopar conversion kit. The instructions for installing the blow off valve says that i goes on the stock blow off valve. so my question is . . does the neon srt-4 come stock with a blow off valve, and if it does, why would anyone want to buy and aftermarket one. thanks for your help, this has been on my mind for a while.

 

it doesn't come with a blow off valve it has a diverter valve. as for the mopar bov its just a plate that the diverter valve goes on top of, i think i forgot b/c i upgraded so if i'm wrong just let me know and i'll shut up lol

 

yup that's all it is. it's also the most annoying thing ever created on the planet.

 

I have the conversion kit and i think it is awesome... i hate the blow off valves that whistle really loud like the turbo xs rfl.... this one sounds cool because it shutters the realeased pressure making a really cool alien like sound....

i get the wierdest looks driving down the road...

 

i'm happy with the loud hey look at me whistle from the hks ssq plus if theres a really cute chick next to ya your car can whistle at her for ya

yeah i love mine too....never any problems always sounds great...especially the low boost flutter at the drive thru window at mcdonalds LOL

 

I want to go to a SRT-4 car show somewhere near me...so I can here all these sounds for myself, and make my own judgement calls...I've seen ones on YouTube, but I'm sure thats not
exactly how those are.
