I was woundering how many people drive everyday on drag radials?
How many miles do they last as a daily driver?
Does cornering suck?

I'm keeping the original rubber on till they wear out. Drag radials in my town with the roads as bad as they are would be suicide....

 

if its a daily driver then u dont want them. they wont last long plus they suck in the rain...
but if its a like sunny sunday car then sure...

 

I prefer all around performance, so I stick with a great performance tire that can stick through the twisties as well as grab and go.

 

i drove around for about two weeks on my dr's this summer. it was kinda fun, i was able to do nice burn outs at will and launch really good around town. it did rain once, which really sucked, i thought i was going to crash. cornering isn't so bad as long as you don't do it at like 50 mph. just be smart and it's fine. you'll only get like 5, maybe 10k from a set of dr's if you use them for daily driving. we do this on the mustang (nitto 555's in the front and 555r's in the rear), but that car only gets maybe 5k on it a year at this point, so it's not such a big deal.
