what should i set my boost controller at with stock turbo

What year car do you have? The most you can run stock is 18 if it is an '05 you might have some trouble after putting mine on at times it doesnt like it.

Dont set it too high with the stock turbo. Youll get a CEL code for Partial throttle overboost. Meaning your car is boosting to much at partial throttle. Not neccessarily a good thing. Past 18 - 19psi the stock turbo really doesn't benefit, and doesn't perform any better if anything youll find the opposite. It just cant flow at such a high PSI.

it is an 05. is stage one just the computer and will it help if so how much does it cost

Yes its just the PCM, costs around 325. There is a noticeable difference yes. Nothing phenomenal, but enough.
