Default airfuel wideband help

i bought a srt autometer air fuel ration gauge...i have it in and hooked up but its not fuctional.....there is a red wire (power) black (ground) and a purple (?) do i need a wideband 02 sensor to make it work or what?....what do i need to complete this....i dont know much bout this part of the car.....where can i find what i need? thanks for your help

ok you bought a narrrow band. it does not have the widespread of a wideband. you need to buy a real wide band. comes with its own o2 sensor a gauge. try AEM

well what does a narrowband do?....it must do somthing? what do i need to make it work....is there a autometer gauge that has the srt logo on it that is wideband?

You need the narrowband sensor hooked into the exhaust system in order for the narrowband to work.
