Yea i got an 05 Sxt with the led tails. So should be all set. I got the rear bumper and complete front and rear disc brake setup from the local salavge yard. Just wish I could find the front bumper and hood to make it all complete but oh well. The sxt w/ fog lights is better than nothing.

 

Hey everyone. Im looking to buy an srt real soon. It got hit in the front its an 04. I was wondering what other models and years and whatnot bumpers/hoods I can get.The hood is pretty well mangled and the bumper isnt even there. It needs everything on the front end. Bumper, all the lights, hood, intercooler, piping, and a rad. Will anything off an '02-'05 neon fit her or what?

 

any of the 03+ headlights will fit. the SRT4 bumper is pretty specific. but if you wanted to go 'sleeper' you could put on an 03+ style front bumper and hood (or even 00-02, but with the 00-02 bumper youll need the 00-02 healdlights). although you would have to reroute the pcv and there is also the issue of the stock SRT hood providing air flow. you could also consider getting a srt bumper from dodge, and perhaps a cf hood, i think modernperformance has them as well as other places. a stock intercooler will probably run you about 50 bucks. search the forums, they are out there.

 

Does the actual bumper assembly fit like the metal structure off of the other models though? Im not so worried about the bumper cover so much as the structure. Also need to find a rad support more than likely any suggestions there as well?

the structure behind is the same. fenders are identical. srt vs non srt, the hoods are slightly different as stated above, as are the washer fluid resivors. in 03 the shape of the headlights and taillights were changed as well as the appearance and shape of the bumper covers. although everything should bolt up if you do a complete conversion.

 

The radiator supports are the same. The fenders are the same.Same with the doors, rear quarter panels, roofs, decklids, etc. The spoiler mounting holes for the SXT spoiler and the SRT spoiler are also identical.[/align][/align]03-05 The headlights and tailights are exactly the same.[/align]The neons have a "point" at the front of the hood[/align]The SRTs hood is more flat in the front so it sits better with the bumper.[/align][/align]If you were to put an SRT bumper on an SXT w/an SXT hood you would have a considerable gap between the two, and the point would overhang. [/align][/align]

 

i should note, however, when i mounted the 00-02 style rear bumper on my car, there was an extra bolt integrated into the bumper cover for which there was no hole in the rear quarter of the srt. everything else lined up though. a little 'hammer modification' fixed the issue.

if your buying used parts, just be sure your getting the SRT4 bumper and not the SRT-D bumper. the front bumpers have no nostrils cut out and the D rear bumper looks like the r/t rear bumper.

 

Ok well i am going to fix the current hood it has its a cf look a like hood actually made of glass so i can repair it fairly easily. The bumper is completely gone. Rad support was cut. Srt bumpers are big bucks as far as I can tel any cheap ways to get a srt bumper? Atleast something that can fit with the hood? Any ideas. From what youve all said I might be better off getting a regular neon hood as well then instead of fixing what its got then eh?

 

Also all of the bumper supports Im finding say they fit 00-01 will they also work with the 03-05's? Im sorry for all these questions but Im trying to get it going as quickly as possible.
