is everyone satisfied with their SRT-4? any major flaws or problems i should know about?
let me know. im interested in seeing what everyone thinks of their SRT-4

 

It looks like its in good condition, not to many flaws, but if this is your first turbo car, these things take a bit to get use to, even stock like the one your looking at, they are still powerful, with it being a 05 you have a lsd where as the 03 did not and more hp then the 03's. Personally I love mine, as does everyone here, yea there are problem that u run into but hey what car dont you. If you do get it, just take it slow learn the car, if you just jump in a go full throttle you will be in for a world of hurt, they have power and are quick. Anyone else have anything to add

Wow! Its nice to see these cars holding their value. Dispite my tranny issues I still 100% love to drive the car. Ricers will get on your case because it doesnt have all the bells and whistles they do and the euros will get on you because you dont have heated leather seats, but you'll get over that in about 13.5 seconds when you pass them by. I see the mileage was 31k. By that time on mine my shifting was getting really tight. Especially in third. Had to play with it a lot to get it to go in at times. I got use to it but it eventually got to the point I'm at now ( tranny replaced) at 48,000. But there are lots of folks here witha lot more milesand no tranny issues. Good luck if you get it. You'll love it.

 

I've seen stock srt-4s go for less than that. Looks good though.

 

I personally think your gonna love the ride. I purchased mine when it had 27,000 miles on it for 15,000 US dollars. Remember when your at the dealership to go down on their price, it won't hurt to try that. It did for me...I think they came down at least 4 grand. It was mostly stock with a Kicker sound system, which I don't mind. It was clean as it came from the factoy! I purchased about a year ago, I now have 37,000 on it. The only thing that went out on me was the fuel pump, but the dealer replaced it for free due to the warranty.
The mods I have added are msd ignition wires, oil catch can,poly engine mounts, SRT chrome ball shifter from mopar performance,front strut bar from performance,chrome door sills,headlight eyelids and black stripes from revolution. I will be replacing the stock rims and tires this week, with black 17x7 rims with chrome lips, it will be wrapped with 225/45/17 Falken tires. But hey, these cars are nice...the few,the proud, the stock for stock....FAST!!!!!!! Good Luck!
