Louder? Heck, you cannot hear the Kicker sub-woofer now unless the back seats are down! Good grief! It only has a resonator after the catalytic convertor now - and the turbo needs 'some' downstream restriction to work. Now, change to a supercharger....

My wife's dad and brothers have a service shop... they want to put her new '05 orange blast on the lift now to see what was left disconnected... they are adequately loud 'as is'. I must be getting old... I can't believe I said that - and after all of the Ansa exhausts I put on my Alfa's... they sounded great, albeit not for long. Gotta admit, the OEM MOPAR lasts... my 90 Shadow ES turbo, which I just sold in September, still has the original exhaust... and clutch. I wonder if the SRT-4 will still be as functional in 14+ years??

Turbos do not need any downstream restrictions to work, they are their own backpressure and do not require it from anywhere else. Only normally aspirated engines need such a restriction to create backpressure to help the engine to accelerate quicker and achieve maximum performance.

That's right, turbos are their own backpressure.
