do you have an aftermarket cd player? my friends protege' had the same problems and when he took it in for a diagnoses they told him that he had some wires crossed on his head unit that were causing a short in the electrical system.... its a long shot, but possible...

Unless you have the sub on when it's happening and are playing music very loudly it shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I guess it could be. Check the battery terminals and see if they are loose. Maybe it's your batt or alternator?

ok heres a update. while i was getting my oil change yesterday at my buddies shop he threw in the obd scanner to check out my check engine light and my car threw 9 codes [&:]i'll list them all.

1. P0033 - turbocharger bypass valve circuit open
2. p0172B - bank 1 system too rich
3. P0253 - turbo wastegate solenoid A
4. P0507 - idle air control system RPMs higher than expected
5. P1105 - Mtc. or Mfc (i can't read this guys hand writing) controlled air/ fuel metering
6. P1188 - same as number 5
7. P1697 - Mfc. controlled comp. output circuit
8. P1854 - transmission
9. P2074 - M.A.P. / M.A.M (MAF) throttle position correlation at high load

can anyone explain these to me b/c i feel like my car is in a huge world of hurt especially that transmission code why would that turn on? i know some of these will be gone b/c the cars not tuned yet and its running rich as hell but can someone sum these up for me plz.

Oh snap! Was your car doing this before you put the Neo in? My buddy had a Neo installed and it caused all sorts of problems. Car would barely run! Could be throwing off your MAP sensor (code P2074) which would have an adverse effect on the way your car calculates everything causing the other codes...
