hey guys and girl

I'm a newb to this forum. I just bought an '04 srt-4 in black and did some minor work to it. I threw on Eibach pro-kit springs to drop it, a Mopar blow off valve (until I save up enough money to get the HKS super-sequential), AEM short ram intake, and the Mopar duel exhausts. My boy has an '04 STi and we mess around with each other for every once in a while. I know off the light I have no chance to take him unless he messes up, but I just wondering about what RPM's I should launch it at, for that, and other races on the road...

 

i launch at 2400... let the cluch out a bit till it starts to grab and the tires start to go then let it out and get down... usally i shift at 4-4.5k in first. then at like 6100 every other gear after that. and ive only raced 1 sti and he got on it before me and he didnt gain an inch after i got on it. i wasnt impressed with the car.
