Snow Salt and my SRT
i live like 2 miles from my work so a quick rinse is no biggie for me. as for my neck of the woods, it's kahului, maui. that's pronounced (ka-Hoo-Loo-e) for those in the snow. but weathers not all sunshine here either the past 2 weeks have been rainy and blustery. but the wet roads sure look pretty at night!
That thing thats used for holding change.. ya it's full and the large.. holding.. thing.. infront of it, whatever it is :/ I've not seen the bottom of it since I bought the car. 1st mod was "Fill full with change"
All i can say if you want to keep it looking new, you have to keep it covered up, if you freak about scratches and all that other mess that comes with daily driver status, by a clunker to go around when the weather is not right, i park mine in my garge at home and at work, but i still got the scratches to prove the street figher sees the road at least twice a week...and burns a tank or two while doing it.
Hey, here are some pics of my car is some snow...usually its in the garage, this time i forgot...opps lol

Man I opened my engine bay today and I found salt i n places I never it could find itself (by washer fluid spout, and fuse box on other end). Now I have to wait till this new storm this wknd blows over before i attempt to clean things out. My wonderful can of 99cent glass cleaner with amonia is a bit too frozen right now to do me much good (could have been worse if I had left a six pack in trunk instead).
More great advice....car covers are good for one thing, wearing off the paint on the corners of your car when the wind is blowing....and it blows a lot in Texas....
