i'm not sure what scca rules are regarding battery relocation, you might want to check on that. i know that nhra has ver strict rules and requirements to do that, scca might have the same. just double check and make sure you're not making more work for yourself......

I have never seen two SRT 4s on a road course together. If you havea high res of that shot maybe you could email it to me taekwon@***.net. Summit Racing has a kit for $79 that seems to have everything you need to relocate the battery. In addition to the weight distribution, I like how it frees up space under the hood. My car is Stage 2, what is a Stage 3 like on a road course? That is a lot of power. I am thinking about putting Stage 3 on my car over the winter. What else have you guys done to your cars for the road courses?

John
There were about 8 of us at that event. I have a bunch of pics floating around between different email accounts and computers.I will see what I can find and send them your way. My car is stage 2 and is plenty for the road course. Even Woodhouse's WC D-Prepared SRT-4R runs off of a S2 PCM. Two of my buddies were running S3 on the course and they loved it. I was in a different group so i couldn't directly compare, but I didn't see them get passed at all, lol.

I teched for a SCCA event a couple of weekends ago and the only thing they check for with the battery is that it is secure.

I've run two NASA events this year and next weekend I am running with PCA. Should be interesting. In July I will run Viper Days which is always a great event. I am waiting until after next weekends run to relocate the battery. I just installed a Maxfabb DP without cats. What a difference!
