hard to answer question
the dis-2 is nothing other than a 2-step. the ignition part of it does not work on our cars. you can't change anything. it's not going to help burn race gas.
you can use the stock coil but you need a tach adapter.

thanks for you input. i thought i had to buy an aftermarket coil, which i didn't like the idea since the stockers are less prone to fail, i have the tach adapter, is there an auto parts or ectronics store that i can pick up an on/off switch to activate the 2-step?
Yep - no race gas...no lead problem...you dont need the colder race fuel mixture with your setup. And it definitely can be detrimental...you will burn a hotter fuel like 93 much more efficiently, and the computer will jive with it too.
I'd look at yer plugs while you are in there...they are possibly a bit fouled...worth a check.

i got my switch at radio shack. any toggle switch will work as long as it's a pressure switch. meaning that it doesn't stay in the on position, you have to hold it there.
agreed with adam - check your plugs. leaded gas does a number on them, especially when you can't burn it properly.
