Feedback from all the SRT4 owners.
My car has minor issues here and there, other than my tranny recently going out. And yes anyone who doesnt drive an srt4 hates on the srt4's. I am not sure why and I really dont care to ask. Its a luv hate thing. I luv looking at them in my rearview and they hate looking at the *** end of my car....lol.....No you dont put the hks where the blue plate goes. You have to buy a block off plate to seal off the stock bov area, Its like ten bucks. Then you need a new cold side pipe to go in between you intercooler and throttle body that has a flange that will hold the hks, from everthing that I have read and experienced myself hks ssqv is the only way to go....As far as warranties go, I promise your gonna want to build this car and with the slightest mods your warranty is garbage
Just for safe keeping. I've decided to go with the Mopar BOV and Mopar/borla exhaust.Only because so many people have them and havingthe car have a muscle feel and sound. Not that Im rolling with the bandwagon. Just because you cant go wrong if the majority has the same parts. I know the feeling of wanting to build this car. Its too tempting to have an alreadyfast car with all these upgrades on the market. Slicing a second off your slip times. My decisions are hasty but its not my first turboed car.I come here to relate to everyone and get help from the experience owners. Carshops will steer you wrong. That is if they are based around imports. Ive searched all over the forum and this place is better. I know Im adecent driver and just as long as I know what defects this car possesses. I should be fine with modifying slightly. Nothing to drastic. I have no one to impress or competition. Well, just myself
yes some shops will steer you wrong, thats why you dont choose those shops. my shop is reliable and they know their stuff, especiall with our cars AGP is right down the road from them and they get business from them. Good luck with you mopar bov
hi i have a 04 srt4 with the mopar bov and borla/mopar exhaust and i love it, as far as performance goes i ran a 14.1 last night with street tires and a vacuum line popping off shortly after launching, so im hopin wit slicks to get mid to low 13s, and as far as problems ive had none till that vacuum line came off, but good luck with yours vtsrt
